Six exterior columns were installed 4 years ago with vertical seams facing the entrance. Unfortunately, these seams were distracting and deteriorating. I filled the seams with new, durable, yet flexible, caulk and faux finished over these seams, visually blending them in the rest of the column. Working for less than three weeks, we finished the columns after many days of meticulous prep work to make the seams less apparent. Durability is a big issue at Disneyland, to make these columns last longer in a high traffic, high damage area (think of all those baggage carts coming thru) I coated the columns with KrystalKote Graffiti Coat. This product stands up to high wear and tear and even makes removing spray paint and markers easy.

I worked with an amazing artist,
Christine Muratore, out of Chico, CA on this project. She is an accomplished fine artist and color consultant.
